If anyone knows me, they know how much I'm into science, and technology.
I love it, to death honestly, and if not art school, I will become a scientist. Guaranteed.
So anyway, exploring hulu.com, i found this show Wired Science. A show about what you ask? You guessed it! Science and technology!
My ultimate favorite segment on the show is, What's Inside, and here's why.
Btw, that's Chris Hardwick from G4. HOW FREAKING COOL IS HE !?

welcome to heartbreak.
I can already imagine the negative criticism that's going to come along with this video, but I like it.
The whole 808 album concept, did it for me. Kanye stepped out the box, looked back, and was like FUCK IT! And you know what? I respect it.
Almost 2 months after the album has been brought to the masses, and I think 'Ye still doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks about it, he did what he wanted to do, AS ALWAYS. Why is anyone surprised to see something way off/different from him?

Sha.

this girl right here.
this girl right here..
THAT GIRL RIGHT THERE...
she has been my best friend since the day we've met.
Sade and I, have always been two peas in a pod. You seen her, you seen me, and visa versa. Partners in crime, kind of thing. I would say it's going on 5years.
I love this girl with all my heart.
But at the same time, you know things are different between us.
No more random chit chats on the phone at work, no more complaining about loves, no more plotting on what to buy as soon as we get that check, no more drunk dials, no more plain ol' bullshitting on a rainy ass day.
There isn't anything anymore.
As I type this, I'm talking on AIM to her.
Hands used to be a blur, typing to her. Now, it's like I don't know what to say, which is weird, because it's been nearly a year since we've last talked.
Not to mention, she's been in the same state for the past yr, and I've yet to see her.
We grew apart, and we had different views from eachother.
I want to say, that we're no longer friends, but I can't even bring myself to do that, because I care about her SO much.
I miss my besti, the one person, who I didn't have to explain anything to, because she immediately knew. I miss my besti, the one person, who at one point dreamt the same things I did.
And I know that we all grow up, and we all grow apart, and it's rare for friendships to even last for a long time anymore.
But I want what we had back.
thank God..
..that Valentine's Day is over.
what the fuck is so happy about valentine's day?
it's ONE day to show the person how much you love them, ONE DAY.
what about the rest of the 364 (365 if it's a leap yr) days in the year?
I had a disagreement with the future, so it kind of ruined it for me. ;'[
so on that note, fuck the love birds.
just 'cause i'm a tad bit jealous.
on a good note though, I got a Michael Kors swing coat for Valentine's from my mommy!
and I went shopping.
so woohoo!
i'm apologizing for this half ass blogging, but i'm beat!

i had a whole thing planned out, well to write about.
hugs.
that's all i care about right now.
i feel so sad, and tired.
I want my boyfriend's hugs & kisses, because they, no matter what, automatically make me feel better.
I want my nephews' hugs, because they make me feel all warm inside, and it reminds me there's still things that aren't corrupt in this world.
I want my mommy's hugs, because her hugs are like none other.
I want my brother's hugs, because it always makes me feel protected.
I want my dad's hugs, because they're so rare. You have get 'em while they're hot!
i really don't know why i'm sad, maybe it's PMS, maybe it's something I'm just not thinking about..
ugh, whatever.

pHELP!
What the fuck is going on with this Michael Phelps scandal? Seriously.

Yeah, we all know that Michael Phelps hitting a bong. And I understand why people are upset, yeah he's supposed to be a role model, yeahhhh he's an athlete, but what the flying fuck, just let it go.
According to Los Angeles Time, he has never failed a drug test in his career. He's openly admitted, and apologized for smoking, and still his punishment is a harsh, and unfair one.
Whats good with that?
We have a president, who admitted to smoking weed, so why are people making such a big deal?
I wish people would understand, Olympics athletes undergo so many months of disciplined, hard training for long periods of time, I would think they need some time to RELAX.
I hope his fans start sending him bongs instead of fan letters. After winning 8 gold medals, he has every right to tell whomever is against him to eat a fucking dick.

Great to be young.

i have always ABSOLUTELY been in love with Dakota Fanning.
she's just freaking awesome. To be so young, and to have so much experience under her belt, you have to give her all types of credit.
But just look at her! She's turning fifteen on the 23rd, and she's just like a budding fashion icon. I must say, she's growing up nicely.

I bet, by the time she's eighteen, she'll be like the next Edie Sedgwick. Maybe, better! I can so see her being someone's muse. SHIT I'M EXCITED!

DITA DITA DITAAAAAAHHHHHHH

what was Marilyn Manson thinking when he agreed to a divorce? If I was he, I would've tried my hardest to make it work, I mean just look at her!
Dita von Teese is one of a kind. She is the biggest name in Burlesque since Gypsy Rose Lee. She's a fashion icon, always topping Best Dressed Lists. She's a muse for designers from Marc Jacobs and John Galliano to Jean Paul Gaultier and Zac Posen. She is credited for bringing back the glamour and allure of Old Hollywood stars. Self-created. Distinctive. Iconic. Flawless.

Holy camoly! I am officially in love.

the love vaccine.
if you could choose between having a drug that makes you more likely to fall in love and be attached to someone else , or a drug that stops you from falling in love with the wrong person, which would YOU pick?
its funny, because working in a pharmacy, you see all types of drugs, all taken for different things. You see how some drugs counteract eachother, and how some drugs response together.
My first question working in the pharmacy was, how come there isn't a drug for love?
you have medication to make you happy, calm , meds for diabetes, high cholesterol, insomnia, high blood pressure, etc., but none for love!

HOWEVER, scientists recently found out that pair-bonding in humans can be enhanced or suppressed by messing with brain hormones like oxytocin and vasopressin, and they also predict that we’ll be seeing new drugs to do just that.
But, this doesn’t mean there will soon be magical potions causing you to instantly fall in love with anyone. Love isn’t just a response to raging hormones; our rational processes have something to do with it, too. Supposedly, drugs could make a difference. In fact, some of the antidepressants now in use are suppressing the neurochemical processes that stimulate romance and attachment.
Who knew taking anti-depressants could jeopradize the ability to have long-term commitments?
Scientist, Dr. Fisher, an anthropologist at Rutgers University has discussed the neurochemistry of romance (and her experiments in reviewing the brains of lovers) in her 2004 book, “Why We Love.” She was recently quoted saying,
"that love is like an addiction — wonderful when it’s going well, but also potentially dangerous:
It’s possible to fall in love with someone just because you had sex with them, because with orgasm you get a flood of oxytocin and vasopressin that can cause you to feel attached to the person. Casual sex is not always casual. Someone might be happy, with a lovely wife or husband, and then this brain system for romantic love or attachment is triggered by someone totally inappropriate. You acquire all the characteristics of an addict. You come obsessed; you distort reality; you do dangerous things; you crave the person, you have withdrawal symptoms."
SO, how do you stop yourself from that fling, with that certain old friend? Pop a Prozac!

FREE POSTER BOY! i mean, that is POSTER BOY, right?
So, if you're even half-alert, walking in the subway, between last yr and now, & thought you noticed weird ads, looking like collages, such as: two guys drowning in a glass of beer in a Michelob ab, or an ad for a television program about Drug Enforcement Administration altered to say, "Iran: Every Deal Can Turn Deadly", or a subway door sign reworded to read, "Do Not Lean on Poor", you've seen Poster Boy's infamous work.

While majority of graffiti artists concentrate on putting their name and imagery any and everywhere, Poster Boy, is like Zorro with a razor blade. He has such a talent for collage, and a wicked sense of humor. He's made his presence felt all over the city by remaking the images that are were put to form ads.
But of course, there are always people who respect the movement, and there will always be people who will be against it, i.e.: the pigs, and the companies shelling out the money for these ads.
On Saturday, at an art event in SoHo, a group of plainclothes New York City police officers supposedly caught and unmasked, the man they say is Poster Boy.

He is Henry Matyjewicz, a 27-year-old who lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and he was found after someone who saw the name Poster Boy on a flier for the event basically snitched. How gross.
As the story goes, he was released from Rikers, early Monday morning.
Supposedly though, Henry, was taking the wrap for the true Poster Boy, because he believes in the movement of Poster Boy. So, at the end of the day, Henry Matyjewicz is an innocent man.
On Tuesday Poster Boy, in an emailed interview said that Mr. Matyjewicz’s arrest meant only good things for himself. “More awareness,” he wrote in the interview . “More support. Outdoor advertising, a blight that can’t be ignored, will become illegal.”
“Socially, I’d like people to understand that there is a difference between what is right and what is just,” he said. “If there is a law that is outdated, impractical, and/or immoral, people should have the right to challenge it. Remember, slavery was considered legal at one point. I consider the world’s current modus operandi a modern slave system. I intend to challenge it in any way I can.”
HOW REAL ISSS THAT !?

Answer this.
a thought came across my mind last night, when i was on the phone with the Love, half sleep.
man is considered an animal, correct? Animals by definition are:
1. An organized living being endowed with sensation and the power of voluntary motion, and also characterized by taking its food into an internal cavity or stomach for digestion; by giving carbonic acid to the air and taking oxygen in the process of respiration; and by increasing in motive power or active aggressive force with progress to maturity.
Animals are known to kill for protection, food, and territory.
So, why when we humans do it, it's a crime?
Not saying, I'm for murder, and killing sprees, and all that jazz, but seriously speaking.
We have primitive instincts still built into our DNA. Yes, we are more "civilized", we can stand upright, speak, but what does that really mean?
We kill for protection, we kill for food, we kill for territory. Is it wrong, because we should "know better"?
And then, on the other hand, what is exactly knowing better?
AND then on that same other hand, how can a human, judge another, by their actions, if we believe in God?
When you're in court, you pledge your oath to God, so shouldn't God be the one to judge? How can we replace that greater power?
I, honestly, don't know why this was on my mind, but every time I ask someone, the question just stumps them. I think, because no one really has the answer to it. How can there be an answer to that?
I think this is the question of the week. Hopefully, someone answers me.
