Burton on Burton.

Man running around with scissor hands, singing zombie wanna be bride, homicidal barber baking human pot pies and the king of Halloween with a Christmas theme are all characters we've come to know and love as distinctly Tim Burton a little creepy, a little weird, but so good for you.

This coming winter, the director/writer/illustrator is bringing his work to the MoMA in New York City for a self-titled solo exhibition. The exhibition will feature art work from the abstraction and production of his films as well as pieces never seen before from his pre-professional time. Expect the exhibition to have a wide variety, ranging from drawings and paintings to digital art and props and costumes.

I, personally, am excited for the cynicism, dark humor, and the thought provoking emotions. Whether or not, it involves THX and large HD projectors, I AM marking the dates on my calendar to take a walk through Tim Burton's mind.

Exhibition Date: November 22nd (Sunday) - April 26th, 2010
